ZS Liang was born in China. He studied at the Central Academy of fine arts in Beijing and Guangzhou Academy of fine arts in Guangzhou. in 1982 he studied art in the United States, and he has a BFA in painting at the Massachusetts College of art in 1986 and MFA in painting at Boston University in 1989.
Painting almost everything he talked about Indian life, while learning and paintings inspired Wampanoag Indian culture in an outdoor museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
